So, here we go, grow and glow again.
It’s been a while, but I am back to blogging.
I’ve taken time off from blogging regularly while exploring life as a Young Urban Professional in Southern California-making my way through Hollywood’s most elite celebrities. One time, my site was hacked (most likely my fault because I used a photo image that was attached to a dirty link) but after years of exploring, traveling, observing all while building and maintaining a successful Sports and Entertainment company, dealing with years of doxxing because I dare speak out against social injustices-dealing with a hacked website and blog took a traumatic toll on me-it was like the wind had been knocked out of my sails.
Throughout the years since then, I’ve been able to enhance my vision through turning my experience into passion by immersing myself deeper into the world of Hollywood x Sports-even curating the hashtag #HollywoodxSports. I’ve had some amazing run-ins with socialite turned Royalty, the Duchess Meghan Markle (way more on her in future posts, I promise):
I met Meghan Markle one month before she started dating Prince Harry. We were both on our socialite stunt and while the world had yet to learn who she was-I as always was ahead of the curve-not jumping onto everyone’s bandwagon based on what sponsored media had to say. My work as an Entertainment Publicist has served me well to be creative with my solutions but also strategic.
So, as I jump back into blogging-I want to make it clear who I am. My ideas are vast, my vision is clear cut to the future and as I find the best way to express this-I invite you to be open-minded as I expand into uncharted territory (literally as well as I’ve just been officially enrolled back into Cherokee Nation-way more on that later as well). I trust my self now more than ever before. To say, I got to meet and interact with the Duchess before Beyoncé did is key to realizing my very own power of working behind-the-scenes.
Another cultural phenomenon that has triggered me to jump back into blogging has been the decadent and most luxurious set display and design emanating from the show, “The Gilded Age” on HBO set in the 1880s:
It is perhaps the Lady of the House, Mrs. Russell that has inspired me most. She boldly built a palace on the Upper East Side of New York City to catch the attention of the old aristocrats stemming from Olde New York-Manhattan’s elite. Her character breakdown has been described as:
Coming from the ordinary middle-class. Bertha Russell has backed her instincts when she set out to catch her husband George, the son of a merchant family who has proved to be a financial genius. She is determined to use her money and position to break into a society that resists change at every turn.
We will definitely be following this series and so many other stories as it relates to #HollywoodxSports, Ladies of Leisure and everything in between and behind-the-scenes.
Thank you for tuning in to my endeavors.
