Torrid, the leading fashion destination for curvy women sizes 10–30, is bringing its highly anticipated Casting Call 2025 to Los Angeles this fall. A Platform for Real Stories
More than just a model search, Torrid’s Casting Call has become a powerful platform for women to step into the spotlight and inspire others. In 2024, Torrid crowned Essence Sugar, a 29-year-old mechanical engineer from Jacksonville, Florida, as the grand prize winner out of more than 11,000 applicants.
This year, the stakes are even higher. Thirty finalists will be chosen from online submissions, and the public will vote to determine the Top 15, who will then travel to Los Angeles for an immersive bootcamp featuring mentorship, content creation, and a professional photoshoot.

- A $15,000 Torrid wardrobe (awarded over one year)
- $5,000 in cash
