I attended Beyonce’s BeyGood Foundation Luncheon during the Black Parade Route RENAISSANCE World Tour stop in Los Angeles held at the fabulous Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills. Ella Bee Media Group was one of 100 companies selected from the West Coast region to attend the luncheon selected out of thousands who RSVP’d and applied for the Small Business Impact Grant.
The Queen Bey herself awarded 10 recipients in 10 major cities throughout the United States including London each with $10,000 in grants. The LA stop was able to award 12 attendees through additional funding from Lexus totaling $120,000 in grants this day. Lexus joined to help small business owners impacted by economic inequities through a variety of grant opportunities and/or sustainability support services. Lexus’ donation expands the BeyGOOD commitment by providing an additional $10,000 each to two grant recipients in all tour cities. Guests who won the grant were surprised at the luncheon which included a fireside chat with Kelly Rowland moderated by Ivy McGregor who is the Executive Director of the BeyGOOD Foundation followed by a sultry performance by singer, Luke James. Event sponsors also included MasterCard, Gucci, the NMSDC, Grameen America, the Fearless Fund,
In 2020 during one of the most economically challenged times in our nation, Mrs. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter (#BeyGOOD Foundation, Founder) launched the Black Parade Route to celebrate and elevate entrepreneurs committed to serving their communities. This much-needed gateway of hope assisted over 900 small businesses globally with $10K grants and digital recognition.
The #BlackParadeRoute continues and journeys to various cities along the RENAISSANCE World Tour to again provide support to entrepreneurs through the highly anticipated Black Parade Route Small Business Impact Luncheons. Bringing together thousands of BIPOC entrepreneurs to an afternoon of networking, inspiration, information, grants, and other MAJOR surprises!
BeyGOOD Foundation focuses on economic equity and education by supporting organizations that serve marginalized and under-resourced communities. The Foundation will host luncheons the day before the tour stops to give entrepreneurs a 5-star, inspirational afternoon, with networking opportunities and the potential to be a grant recipient from $100k funds allocated to each luncheon. One thousand small businesses will be supported financially by a commitment totaling one million dollars.
