Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Board of Governors meeting – vote on Will Smith disciplinary action

The Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences meets to vote on disciplinary action against actor Will Smith, after he slapped Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars ceremony. According to a statement from the Board of Governors, Smith has been given 15 days’ notice of the vote, in order to comply with the Academy’s Standards of Conduct and state law, and actions may include suspension, or expulsion.
